You:
I am a woman of color. I am passionate, sensitive, and sympathetic. Once I set my mind to something. I've experienced immigrant families in my inner circle some blood and some family friends. I've seen the struggles of those who just want the opportunity to live the life of an American. These are probably the reasons why I aspire to give the innocent children a different life. It is also because it wasn't their choice to do this in the first place so they shouldn't have to suffer completely and risk their lives.
Offering to Customers:
I am trying to solve the suffering and improve the health of children who are being stuffed in the facilities.
Who Offering To:
I want to focus this offer to the general public. Those who are willing to help those who cannot help themselves. I truly believe most of the funds will come from those who willingly donate on a website or at special events.
Why They Care:
I really feel like it is easy to show care for children who did not even get a choice in their circumstances.
Core Competencies:
As of right now, their are no other nonprofit organizations like mine. Sure, people do speak on the topic and wish they can help but it is all about action.
Piecing it TOGETHER:
With all the pieces together, I feel like one thing really leads to another. The company doesn't really need a lot of explaining. The why speaks in itself. The photos and the visuals really show pain. The stories of deaths bring hurt and passion to change.
Feedback Memo:
I learned from my feedback that it would be pretty easy to gather many supporters. They pointed out how today's social media could make an organization like this really inspire others to help. Many people would be able to share it with each other and it could really make a big change. I would have to make sure I use the right advertising strategy though.
Nina,
ReplyDeleteYou made an interesting point about how there are no nonprofit organizations helping illegal immigrant children. Do you hypothesize that this is because it may be considered aiding and abetting an illegal activity? I some quick research and you were correct that there several advocacy groups who are activists for the children's rights but none of the groups seem to be physically involved in the lives of children. I wonder about sanctuary cities who creating legal protections for illegal immigrants.... What are sanctuary cities doing for the children? That seems like it would be an area you could make a real impact since the laws would be supportive of your nonprofit.
My heart feels for these children, I think it is beautiful that you have a heart to give them the love and care that they desperately need.
Best Regards,
Suzanna
Hi Nina,
ReplyDeleteGreat post you have here! It truly meets all the guidelines of the assignment. I feel that this idea truly encompasses a wide range of ideas and feeling that allow the customer and providers to understand each other on a whole new level. I believe that the approach to solving this problem is to attack it at the roots of where it started and begin from there.
Your I think you bring up some very strong points in your posts, the idea that any of this is occurring is crazy and that their aren't any no profits helping these children is saddening. I think that your business would be of great value and your personal interactions with others in this situation gives you a great perspective.
ReplyDeleteHi Nina!
ReplyDeleteGreat post! It hurts my heart to know that these things are happening in the world. I've been following your business concept since the first idea napkin and I can definitely see progress in your business plan and how fine-tuned it is now! I can grasp your concept even more now with a deeper understanding.
Good work here!
