Elevator Pitch 2
Feedback Analysis
The feedback from my first elevator pitch was really positive. They liked the entire way I carried the message. What I really focused on was the way I brought out the emotion. I tried to make the audience feel connected in some way. I drew into them to think about some child that meant something to them and to think about them suffering. It pulls on the heart strings and makes them actually want to help those. Another thing I used was the ending question. Something that makes a person think within themselves if they actually want to help. The why they should help. Sort of in a guilty way if they didn't. There was not really any negative feedback that caught me off guard or made me change in any type of way.
Hey Nina, I find it interesting that you say you tried to make the audience "connect". Pulling on heart strings is a great way to make sales. Although this may sound impersonal, it's important to understand what makes your customer base react emotionally. That's good if there is no negative feedback, however, you should be seeking negative feedback so that you have a greater understanding of how you need to improve, because there is always room for improvement.
